Outspoken and often controversial, Alexandra Gill has been the Vancouver-based restaurant critic for the Globe and Mail, Canada’s largest national newspaper, since 2005. She serves as one of the Academy judges for “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.” Her freelance writing has also been published in Vancouver Magazine, enRoute, Western Living, Whistler Traveller and the Time Out Guide to Vancouver. An engaging television personality and public speaker, she has recently presented at PechaKucha Vancouver and the Global Civic Public Salon hosted by former Vancouver mayor Sam Sullivan.
